Undiagnosed Documentary

The final trailer for “Undiagnosed: Medical Refugees” is here! Several of our U.R. Our Hope families are featured and will share their stories of being undiagnosed and why a diagnosis is so important.  The film is in it’s final stages, but financial support is needed to make this project a reality.  Please share this project with everyone you know so that this film can be completed.  Visit undiagnosedfilm.com to make a donation.

Thank you to Dr. Katia Moritz and Crowbait Pictures for their hard work and dedication to this incredible project. No amount is too small, if we all donated just $5 this film can become a reality!

  1. Cassie says:

This brought tears to my eyes. I’m partially diagnosed and partially undiagnosed- we know there’s an autoimmune component to my illness, but can’t pin down which one. And that makes it far harder to treat, as we’re guessing at which drugs will help. After 9 years of this, it’s easy to feel forgotten by the medical institution at times, passed by, and unimportant, all because I lack a title.

I also understand how empowering that moment of getting a solid diagnosis is. I have a rare genetic skeletal disease that went misdiagnosed for 6 years. Getting a diagnosis suddenly changed how doctors viewed me. It shouldn’t have- the X-rays of the hole in my femur should have been enough. But a title, a name? Changed things.

I wish you the best of luck with getting the money to finish the project. I hope to see the film out soon.
